Our Story
The Schaeffer Center for Christian Study exists to explore the connections between the Christian faith, scholarship, and human flourishing. We come alongside students to help them appreciate the depth of the Christian tradition as a source for meaningful inquiry, personal formation, and faithful living.
What We Do
Study Groups
We create environments where students can explore big questions of faith, vocation, and meaning. Through guided discussion, Christian community, mentorship, and engagement with Scripture, ideas, and culture, these groups help students integrate intellectual growth with spiritual formation.
Talks & Lectures
We bring scholars, authors, and practitioners to campus to engage the campus community on faith, scholarship, and the pressing questions of our time. These events foster thoughtful dialogue, intellectual rigor, and deeper reflection, inviting students and faculty alike to consider how Christian wisdom speaks meaningfully to every area of life and learning.
Hospitality & Community
We create welcoming spaces where students are known, encouraged, and invited into meaningful relationships. Through shared meals, conversation, and genuine fellowship, we offer a space for intellectual, spiritual, and personal flourishing amid the often-fragmented pace of college life.
